Bekasi, April 19, 2025 — PT Lintas Jaringan Nusantara (LJN) provided full support for the Gebyar SMK 2025 event organized by SMK Bina Mandiri, Bekasi.
The Gebyar SMK 2025 event was held from April 19 to 20, 2025. LJN’s support for this event came in the form of free internet access. All visitors and participants could enjoy free internet throughout the duration of the event.
LJN also contributed to the excitement by offering prizes to the competition winners. These prizes were a token of appreciation and motivation for the participants.
This event is held annually. For 2025, the theme centered around scouting and flag-raising team (Paskibra) competitions for junior high schools. Dozens of schools from Jakarta, Bekasi, and Bogor took part in this festive occasion.
According to the organizing committee, there were approximately 18 to 20 Scout teams, and the same number of Paskibra teams participating in the competitions.
What is Gebyar SMK 2025?
According to Indra, the event coordinator, Gebyar SMK 2025 is one of the strategies to promote SMK Bina Mandiri to a wider audience, in line with the opening of New Student Enrollment (PPDB) since November 2024.
“The main goal of this event is to promote our school. Since the PPDB has been open since last November, we took the initiative to organize scouting and Paskibra competitions to increase the school’s visibility,” Indra explained.
The competitions included Intelligence Scouts (Skot Intelijen), Marching Drill (LKBB), Quiz Competitions, and Pioneering (building structures using ropes and poles). The enthusiasm of the participants exceeded the committee’s expectations.
Although initially targeted at schools in the Bintara area of Bekasi, in practice, many participants from outside the region also joined the event.
“Our initial target was schools around SMK Bina Mandiri and Bakti Mandiri. But surprisingly, participants from outside Bintara, even from DKI Jakarta and West Java, showed amazing enthusiasm. We’re truly grateful,” he added.
